Rob Parker is a writer and qualified primary school teacher from Suffolk, UK. His wife, Lucy is the illustrator of ‘Stink the Sloth’ and ‘One of our Own. Together, they have two sons, Albert and Teddy, two dogs called Dave and Pedro and two cats, Magic and Mildred.

As well as enjoying the role of a Year 4 Primary school teacher, Rob writes children’s picture books. He has interests in sport, but in particular football where he coaches his eldest son’s U13 football team.

Lucy began her teaching career in the primary setting before making the change to teach her biggest passion – art to children aged from 8 to 18.
